coquetterie dancer・concept book・sabitsuku made

In my mind's eye, I had a vague image of the characters and setting of the world, which was a slum-like environment. The main character, a poor boy who earns his daily bread by dancing, is constantly abused and mistreated by everyone, and gradually becomes mentally deranged due to poverty and stress, unable to distinguish between reality and fantasy. He ends up hunting down those who mocked him, covering himself in their blood, and dancing to attract attention. The story is a metaphor for the feelings we all have of wanting to be noticed and not be abandoned. The wonderful images created by Uguisu Kobo blend the psycho-horror elements that blur the line between reality and delusion with the comical and eerie cartoon-like worldview, and when combined with Yuu's songs, it is a unique and one-of-a-kind work - nilfruits This is a "pop and mad" animated music video with cartoon-style visuals and a psycho-horror backstory. For this work, we dared not to create a storyboard,...

When writing a new song for Yuu Miyashita, an artist with such a rare voice, my first thought was "I want to present him with an exhilarating song. That's how "I want to discuss you" was born. The theme is the title itself. I just wanted to discuss it. It may sound like a lie, but the idea had already formed in my mind during the meeting. I must have been lucky. It was sick, bizarre, dark to the point of longing, aggressive, abnormal, and alluring. Naturally, these were the images that were in my mind when I was composing the music video. Now that you have made it into a music video, I think you have skillfully expressed the atmosphere of "pleasant darkness" that I put into the sound. It is brilliant. I discuss "you" with sound and brushstrokes, and Yuu Miyashita discusses it again with his singing voice. I hope you will all try this uroboric piece. I hope it will please your palate - teniwoha I created the picture and storyboard based on Teniha...

akumu no lullaby・concept book・sabitsuku made

"The theme of this song is like a never-waking nightmare. At the same time, I also imagined love and addictions that you can't quit even if you try. I wrote this song while thinking about the similarities between the suspicious atmosphere of Yuu Miyashita's song and the atmosphere of my own music. I also like the way the song has a narrative part before the chorus, which is creepy in a good way." - syudou "They were lovers, but one day they get into an accident which causes the woman to lose consciousness. The man comes to visit her every day, but the woman has a hallucination in which they blame themselves. The reason I included a shot of the man wearing a patient's uniform is that he might actually be the one who has had an accident and is asleep. I wanted to make it seem as if the man is having a nightmare and the dream is either true or false." - 檀上大空 "A bud has sprouted on the man's back, and the part of the flower that has begun to bloom w...

There are things that people around you say you had better stop doing, but which you honestly don't want to stop doing at all. I wrote this song because I wanted to express those things you shouldn't do - Yuu

rinne tensei・concept book・sabitsuku made

"We can look at a chaotic story with a sense of serenity. I think this is because we are the only ones who know the important secret that is kept from the people in the story: that every story has an ending. We, on the other hand, are not at ease when it comes to reality, because the story in which we live is vaguely shrouded in this great secret. If we "retell" the story, the secret revealed will return to the secret withheld, and we will have to live in the same reality as the people in the story. It was scary, but also very interesting. When we put the story into the structure of "reenactment," it became clear that there are many layers of "reenactment" structures hidden within the story. In reality, for example, we repeat the same routines, we see the same person in a corner of our memory when we talk to someone else, there is no end to regrets, humanity repeats the same history, and so on... All of these are things that we thought w...

hatchet・concept book・sabitsuku made

I wrote a song titled "Hatchet". An axe appears in the lyrics as a symbol of something that cuts off suffering. It depicts the confusion and recollections of a person trapped underfoot, stuck and slowly drowning. It's a little bit disturbing. I was thinking about making it catchy, considering it was a song I was contributing to an album, but one day I felt something welling up in my gut, and I decided to capture that moment of anger. I spat out the first draft of this song on the same day. I wrote this song completely for myself, but I offered it to Yuu because I thought he could match its wavelength. I hope it was okay. Thank you for everything. - Mah Hirano    (translated with deepl)

katrina・concept book・sabitsuku made

"Sometimes, when living under a burden that we can't just throw away, we have the miserable urge to go back in time. Every time we are confronted with something final, we are reminded of the cruelty of not being able to go back in time. I am sure that some of you reading this article can in part identify with this. It is a weakness that we all have, which ultimately leads us to something common in science fiction, such as the time machine or the cold sleep machine. The song title "Katrina" was used as a replaceable noun, like Hanako Yamada in Japan. Although the title of the song is a female name, the poem is written from a male perspective. The number of syllables was reduced so that the singing voice could come to the forefront. As is the case with music, be it academic or otherwise. If you label yourself as free, you will have an infinite number of choices, and you will suffer the pain and regret that comes with that amount of freedom. However, the beauty of a n...

endgame・concept book・sabitsuku made

Lyrics/Composition: Kairiki Bear “Endgame" means the final stage of a chess game in which you know that your life is already "deadlocked. In fact, "Endgame" is a sequel to "Telestories," from Yuu Miyashita's second album, "Walking in Blue," so we recommend that you compare the two. In "Telestories," the main character uses a telescope to look into the future, but in this song, I depicted the present as seen from the perspective of the person who created this horrific world. The protagonist, who has a strong sense of inferiority in an unequal world where only he loses and is hurt, objects to the world's claim to equality and begins to offer a "negative" equality that makes everyone "happy". Personally, I like Yuu Miyashita's rendition of "Remingu " very much, so I used it as a reference, and after listening to other videos of Yuu Miyashita's songs on continuous playback, I created this song s...

dahlia・concept book・sabitsuku made

Lyrics and music by Nanashi Hachiya The title of this song, "Dahlia," was chosen because the finished lyrics are similar to the flower language of the dahlia. I aimed to create a song that is easy to relate to, as if I took a step back and looked at things from a bird's eye viewpoint and saw myself coldly, so that no one would get hurt. I wrote the lyrics very honestly. I love Mr. Miyashita's dense chorus, so I included gaps throughout the song where the chorus can be heard. The relationship between the chords, melody, and rhythm is musically complex, but the final result is very beautiful. In fact, I had a talk with Mr. Miyashita the other day, and he told me about a soundproof room that he recommended, which led me to renovate the soundproof room. We hope you will enjoy the work created by the combination of Ms. Miyashita's singing voice and various instruments. - - - The flower language of "dahlia" is Elegance Dignity Prosperity Capriciousness Fickle ...

art・concept book・sabitsuku made

Recently, I have been getting a sense that my views and moral values clash with others, especially in the recent years. In this song, I wanted to embody the way that moral values, which can be seen as "guidelines for considering others," turn into incoherent insanity that can result in beating others to a pulp. Since madness can also be taken to mean hell, I took the name of the song from the Russian word "ад (read: art)," which means hell. During the creation of the piece, I thought that art would finally be completed when Yu Miyashita's song was displayed on top of the madness. I have a habit of piling up instruments to fill in the blank spaces, but this inevitably leads to the addition of ani-song-like elements, so I decided on the roles of each part and used only the minimum number of tones. I wanted to create a pop song with an eerie atmosphere, so I based it on a cover of my song "Grimhild" by Yu Miyashita, which had previously been pos...

ayka・concept book・mitsuketa tobira wa

The track “Ayka” in this album is a remake of a previously released track called “Kaya” (sung by Vocaloid GUMI). Did you have the idea for “Ayka” in mind when you were working on “Kaya”? “Kaya” has a faint storyline and I thought I could expand on it a little more, but I had no intention of making “Ayka” when I was working on “Kaya.” And it’s not really a continuation of the story, but rather another point of view or the other side of the same coin, so to speak, kind of like my song “Ithna.” I expect my fans will be able to unravel it pretty easily. [Laughs] The album title appears in the lyrics of “Ayka.” Yes, it does. I included the phrase after I came up with the album title. I added a side story about finding something new and the way various things happen from there. I asked Marron Bosatsu to arrange it for me. You know what, though, I already had the backing track for “Ayka” since about a year ago, but couldn’t find an opportunity to make a video for the song or put it on a...

yuuka・concept book・mitsuketa tobira wa

Lyrics and music by Kou Yuuka was about to celebrate their seventh birthday. "Good morning father, I will help out. Yuuka wrapped their arms around their father, who was chopping wood in the front yard early in the morning. She is still acting so maturely that her small body does not seem to match. The snow is fluttering from the sky and settling gently on the trees and plants as though they were wearing clothes. "Good morning, Yuuka, I want you to go fetch your mother." My mother often brings in vegetables from the fields a short distance away. "I will." I quickly put on my jacket and headed for the mountains. After a short walk through the woods, the fields at the foot of the mountain came into view. It was a familiar path, but the snow was deep that day, and it was somehow darker than usual. The snow was deep that day, and it was somehow darker than usual. This mountain is said to be guarded by a god named Kapke. She is said to look like a human w...

annei no utage・concept book・mitsuketa tobira wa

Lyrics, Composition, Arrangement: PolyphonicBranch A dark and complex song structure with gloomy lyrics. When I thought of Yu Miyashita's beautiful and fragile voice, I wanted to express the overwhelming contrast between his voice and the tone of the song, which led me to write this song. I think you have created a very good work by embodying a scene that is somewhat like being in a dream and the feelings of the main character who has given up on "this wonderful world" with your overwhelming singing ability. I would be happy if you could feel the conflicting emotions of despair, resignation, craving, and seeking for salvation, which are contradictory to each other. The title "Anei no banquet" suggests an escape to a secure world, but at the same time, I hope that there may be hope somewhere
